Why I Love Snowboarding
The unique experience provides me a sense of bewilderment and awe, as if the world suddenly feels both enormous and intimately mine. Gliding down the mountain, I feel a scope of self that stretches across the vast expanse of the universe.
In those moments my movements, my choices, my presence all connected to the grandeur of nature around me. Every run is a reminder of how small I am in the grand spectrum of things, yet how alive and capable I feel in the moment. Snowboarding isn’t just a sport; it’s a lens through which I experience perspective, freedom, and the raw beauty of existence.
Favorite Mountains
Mt. Bachelor is my go-to mountain here in Oregon. I love how the snow stays powdery and the runs challenge my skill level.
I also plan to document trips to other mountains and share tips for gear, safety, and fun experiences.
